Project Overview:
WRV (World Reverb Value) proposes replacing GDP's flat, dead measurement of economic output with a living, pulsating metric rooted in the physiological impact of listening to, experiencing, and being moved by music. The most valuable capital is no longer a number on a screen, but a reverberation of the soul.
The mechanism is public infrastructure, not private devices. Reverb Zones; haptic handrails, ambient sensors on park benches, pulse-points on street lights, form a Biological Mint embedded in the architecture of cities. These surfaces anonymously detect involuntary physiological responses to music: goosebumps, heart rate spikes, the catch in the throat. Each response registers as a Reverberation, the fundamental unit of value for a new economy where artists are compensated in direct proportion to the depth of their impact on us.
A song that makes 100 people cry holds more value than a synthetic CDO squared. A busker who stops a stranger in their tracks mints more wealth than a dividend recapitalisation extracted from a dying hospital. Musicians become essential infrastructure generating felt profits. The economy gets a heartbeat. The new economy doesn’t track your balance; it tracks your pulse. Wealth as a shared human reverberation.
